Her Self Care is molting… 🐦⬛
Her Self Care has been shedding old feathers, old expectations, and a version of itself that no longer fits.
What's emerging?
Corvidae Corner.
A little darker.
A little stranger.
A lot more fun.
The transformation has already begun.
I have been trying to figure out just what I want Her Self Care to look like as I try to figure myself out.
I’m learning what I like and don’t like.
I like…
🖤 Meeting & helping awesome women
🖤 Meditating
🖤 Dowsing rods
🖤 Connecting with nature
🖤 Ghosts/paranormal
🖤 Folklore
🖤 Historic buildings/places
🖤 Intuition
🖤 Connecting to earth and spirit
🖤 The women who root for me and each other
I don’t like…
🖤 Feeling left out
🖤 Hoping people will be excited about what I offer
🖤 Feeling forced to post to get people to sign up
🖤 Busting my butt and have low turn outs (though I treasure my ladies… you know who you are!)
Maybe you’ve noticed I’ve been a little scattered lately. I’ve been trying to make Her Self Care to be what I want… but I have to make what I want the thing that I do.
Sooo… I will be stepping off the hamster wheel and turning it into what actually fuels me. And I’m going to stop worrying about if people think what I like is too weird… too much… too woo-woo… too “witchy”… or too dark.
I’m stepping away from the version of me that thought everything had to be serious, polished, and perfectly packaged and I upgrading HSC into my own weirdo little corner of the world. I hope you stay with me, but if you don’t that’s okay too.
If you like pumpkin coffee, Edgar Allen Poe, and Practical Magic, you’re going to want to stay tuned for the next chapter, because…
Something witchy this way comes… 🖤
